Hey guys how's it going? I was just wonderig if this would be ok or safe to do so. I just got a new job finally problem is it's an hour away. My dad lives alot closer then wear I live now. My tortoise is obviously where I am now but I was thinking if I could build a tortoise house at my dads and transfer the tortoise weekdays and weekend back and forth or whenever I stay at my dads. Dads house is too small for me to live regularly old house one room lol. Would it be bad to mov him every so often to maintain care. Or just suck it up and drive an hour or more in traffic.

Some people talk about moving tortoises causes stress for them. But I believe they are smart enough to get familiar with both places and get comfortable with both. Build a wooden box with a lid so you can move him comfortably in your car. How big is he? How old? Can you set him up good at both places?

He's six months couple days ago. He would get a perfect set up both places forsure. And about 3 inches.

You could leave him entirely at your dad's house, move the entire enclosure if possible. He'll be ok on the weekends and you can leave the lights on timers.
