That's my ten inch female. I feed her off to the size after the adults had their fill. She was enjoying some time on her heated pig mat before her meal.

Mine were smaller than most for successful breeding. My male got the job done at a whopping 12 inches and the female was 15 inches for her first nest

Do you know what their ages were at that time?

Female was from my brother. He kept her dry and feed her sparingly for the first 6 years of her life. Then he let her loose in his fenced in yard and she began to grow normally . She was 11-12yrs old for her first clutch .
The Male I raised from a hatchling. This is why he is the smoothest of the bunch. He was 4ish when he fertilized her.
