Need Ideas/help

Today I found out I have a male and female stinkpot musk turtles. I caught them in the act. Was wondering if anyone has Pics or ideas on how to make a top for the tank that the female could go and lay her eggs when the time comes. Also if anyone has bred them I would also appreciate input on what to do after she lays the eggs. Thanks in advance.

I think I saw here on the forum a while back where someone had cut out a "doorway" in the side of a kitty litter pan, filled it with sand and set it on top of the tank on one end. Then they made sides around it so the turtle couldn't get out, out of that clear plastic stuff.

Or you can wait until the female gets restless, climbing the sides and trying to get out, then take her outside and set her in a safe pen. I used to have a female mud turtle and every so often I'd put her out in the box turtle pen. She always laid eggs when I put her outside.

Thanks Yvonne. Ill give putting her outside first then work on building a platform.
