I've liked using these they last pretty long....they just get pretty hot

thats what i used for my beardies, last around a year and you have to change it, although i don't know if you have to change the ballister XD

Thats a good bulb if its' within 12" of the surface. After that you lose ALOT of the UV's. At 12" your only getting 50% of the UV out put to the ground.
