New enclosure

This is Boris's new indoor enclosure my boyfriend built. We just have to get the inside all set up with his substrate and stuff and it will be ready for him. (The place we have it is not where it's going yo stay, we just put it in the room to finish with the painting & poly coating since it was too cold to finish it in the garage.)attachment=59416]

That is beautiful. Great job. One recommendation, and you might already have it and it just isnt noticeable in the pic. The ramp, put slats of wood across a small distance apart so he gets something to grip on as he is heading up or so he doesn't slide down.

Thanks!!! We were talking about what to put on the ramp to give him something to grip on but haven't decided and honestly it slipped my mind.. I might put some terrarium liner on it.

I was brainstorming for mine, and was thinking those pebbled tiles. Lots of nooks and crannies to hold onto and a nice, natural look.

Thanks everybody. It took us awhile to get a plan in mind and than since I wanted to keep the enclosure in our living room so I could see him, my boyfriend wanted to make sure it looked nice. I just can't wait to get Boris in it.

That's a really nice enclosure! Where will the lights be installed? I like that the upper level has clear walls - I bet the tort will enjoy looking out of it.
