Hi, I'm Alissa. In Peoria, Az. New tortoise owner. Just got my first little one about a month ago, not sure how old s/he is. S/he is a Sulcata tortoise. Name is Chompers. And we are here for tips and etc. on keeping him/her nice and healthy. I am excited to learn more about my little Chompers lol thanks for having us!

make sure the enclosure has 80% humidity and have a water dish

Thank you some sites said not to have a water dish because they'll drown....? And also, unfortunately I have to work with the current enclosure size due to not having the money to increase it

use this type of water bowl and you can also buy one of those really big tubs at hard ware stores i don't think those are that expensive

add some variety to his diet. do you have a lawn with out chemicals? if so you can cut him up some grass and non toxic weeds
