Hi, I'm a new owner of a Russian tortoise who still has a lot to learn about tortoise care! Rosebud is 'new to me', a 9ish year old male who spent his early years in a school classroom. I offered to give him a permanent home and he has quickly won over the family. We live in Oregon, in the Willamette Valley. Temporarily, he is in his extra large clear terrarium, and I have plans to build him an outdoor enclosure in the yard for the warmer summer months as well as a new indoor enclosure.
I hope to get some feedback on better tortoise care, because Rosebud is a one of a kind dude.
