Newly built tortoise house

Newly built tortoise house out of an ikea bookcase.

Following modifications made:
1) Added solid back
2) Cut hole and added storage box to enable tortoise to dig down
3) used 2 shelves to create a house
4) lined with vinyl tiles and sealed with decorators caulk

Filled with top soil today, and have a water dish.

Now just awaiting lights and need some other decorations / entertainment, then we can get the main thing -the actual tortoise!

New tortoise table enclosure

Built out of an ikea bookcase.

Have added a solid back and also made a hole in the middle to add a storage box to enable the tortoise to dig down.

Mainly waiting for my lights to arrive, and then can actually get the main thing the tortoise!
