Do you have anything that would be a good mate for it Neal? I'm only asking because I might be willing to get it if I had something to do with it in a few years.

I have a dark one that is only slightly larger. Not as smooth as this one, but by the time it's full grown it would make a good breeder. Mine is looking to be female, as well as the one in this ad, so it probably wouldn't be a good match up.

Is this a tortoise that you would like to have access to, and living in Gilbert?

In my opinion that's overpriced and it's incredibly small for a 2008 hatchling.

Lol! I have a 2004 that size. I also have a 2004 that is 13+". Their growth rates vary ridiculously.

Also, I think that price would be high for a normally colored leopard, but doesn't that one seem blonde enough to demand a higher price?

Not sure I follow you...

It's definitely low on the growth spectrum for that age, but that in and of itself doesn't really indicate anything significant to me. Personally, I'd like to see the tortoise in person before paying that amount, but I do think it's reasonable.

Well how about, is that a tortoise that you would like living at your house with your leopards, but that you didn't have to pay for?

Or. would you rather have that tortoise, or save the money to put towards a different leopard in the future?

I would rather put that amount of money towards a leopard I could see in person first. Any new leopards I usually pick up in a trade of some sort with some of my hatchlings. So if I wasn't currently breeding them, then I would be willing to buy this tortoise.

If I didn't have to pay for it, heck yeah I would him among my future breeders.

Are you going to buy me this tortoise for Christmas Jeff?

He'd go great with my ploughshare herd. :)

It is very nice looking, but so incredibly small for it's age. It looks to me to be about 3 1/4" scl. So it's only grown about 2" in four years. I would guess it will be a very small adult.

It has been on there for quite some time. I had sent an email about the size and it being 4 years old. I too thought way too small for 4. I never got a response back:( it is a pretty one though.

Gaia is about 18 months old and just about that size..... I concider her a Super Runt because Eros is 8 months younger and well past that size.

Even with the high yellow, $325 is kinda steep... unless you want to breed in the future. That might be a good price for a good breeder. Can you tell if it will be a good breeder at this age?
