That turtle does not look overweight at all...it is indicative of the species....

I think he looks ok for his size
Sure hope the place getting him have a clue as to as to his care.
He's a fine size 
They are making it seem like he's gonna eat YOU, when even though wild snapping turtles can be a bit 'mean' it doesn't mean he's like, Godzilla or anything! Just a lost turtle

Wow! Shows what I know...not enough, I guess. So many questions come up in my mind that I think I'm going over to the newbie area and staryimg a whole new thread.
