Ok New Sulcata Question

Ok in my previouse post i asked about My Sulcata (chewy) showing me his goods and if it was normal. And it was determined he has reached male maturity and is Horny lol...

My new question is. Since he continues to whip it out, What should i use as subtrate since i dont want him to bring it back in and it has subtrate all over it and hurt him.

Any suggestions?

Ours are outside so they have lawn and dirt below them. They have never had any problems. If kept inside I imagine you would want to use larger pieces of cypress mulch or similar, probably no sand or fine substrates.

Yeah hes inside now till summer...Im in michigan so it get cold here...Its 40 degrees outside lol...So hes nice and cozy in his bedroom...so Cypress mulch huh? Right now i took all his subtrate out just in case. But now ther eis nothing to obsorb his Urine lol..
