I'm Lucie and I am looking at buying a pair of tortoises (Egyptians are my fave, aesthetically, though I also love Marginated tortoises and Horsefields) my friend's horsefield is so lovely, though I haven't seen her in ages, except when she stars on facebook of course!
Anyway I am looking for two babies to grow old together and join me, my husband and my very friendly King Charles Cavalier, Rosy in our little house in Lancaster. I have owned rabbits, hamsters, dogs, and fish before now but never reptiles. I have done a fair bit of research and am aiming to buy a tortoise table and lamp in the next week or so in preparation for my new friends, while I visit a few breeders (unless the breeders are selling these themselves).
There is a lot of advice available online but I thought it would be good to get live feedback from people who already own tortoises, which is why I joined this forum
