How is it that the outer shell is broken, but the inner shell/lining doesn't look broken at all? You got babies pipping all the time. How exciting. When is the extra large egg suppose to pop? I'm not a patient person ya know:D I can't wait to see what comes of it. If you remember, send me a pm when you make a thread of it. I don't want to miss it:D

The Tech-e info ....RF eggs are usually weigh 30-50 grams and are about 40-45 mm in diameter. Layman's terms and much easier to visualize, smaller than a chicken egg...and sometimes very "ping pong ball" shaped rather than elongated.....other times just the opposite with a more elongated ( similar to a chicken egg) structure.
Although there are " freak " eggs every once in awhile .. like Barb is mentioning.

Barb .... there is actually a very small pin-hole ..on the other side of the egg....( I saw it last night). That is the first "prick" made by the egg tooth to puncture thru both membranes’ (inner/otter) thus allowing " It's first breath of air" One of the most crucial parts in hatching and if the tort will make it or not ... ( I will have a good thread about that later) . The latter "pop out" of the egg as pictured is more or less produce from the little guy kicking inside the egg. This too provides breakage thus allowing hatching out'
The large egg still looks viable and it will be awhile .... before we know ..... I can't stress the fact anyone who wants to breed torts...you better be prepared for EXTREME PATIENCE......as your 120 day dream come true can turn into 180 days no problem ..that’s 6 months of pins and needles .....- No wonder I never had any kids! :p
