Never offered mine any papaya but their old enclosure used to have a mango tree in it and when fruit would fall they never touched them. Just as well because of the high sugar content, but it's interesting how they *usually* seem to sense what they should and should not eat. Then again I have had them bite my toes or the side of a building before so perhaps I give their chemoreceptors too much credit...
