peeling or skin issue?

Remi's skin is peeling and its very white underneath where the skin was, she seems happy, active and is still eating, drinking, and having regular voids and bms. Is this normal? please let me know, im new to this tort owning thing. I posted a picture its the areas by her neck.

It's perfectly normal. It just means that little guy/gal is growing. How often do you do soaks throughout the week? He/she is a cute little guy/gal.

I mist her cage daily( 2-4times) and soak her once a day some time twice, I rub a vita shell on her shell once a week too, her hot zone is 95-100 and her cool zone is 75-85 usually 80. And I take her outside for an hour or so 4 or more times a week depending on the weather and she eats the whole time I call her a she but not sure yet she's a female.

Aw look at that tongue. I noticed ours was doing the same thing the other day during her soak (neck peeling.)

Uh huh! Good job capturing it too! I had no idea how cute a tortoise could not only be but stay until owning ours. Man they wrap you around their little claws! Haha.

It's just a cream you rub on their shells when they are dried out, I don't think it's something that u need tho, I got it b4 I got my tort, her shell isn't dry but I use it on her face and shell any way.
