Hi everyone,
I work for a wildlife rescue centre in Cameroon. We had a confiscation of several turtle species- totalling over 400 individuals, sadly most did not make it.
We are looking to release healthy individuals back to the wild with Government authorization, but we want to be certain of the species, some individuals have been identified as Pelusios bechuanicus and we know they are not native and therefore wont be eligible for release. Other species included Pelusios niger and Pelusios gabonensis.
Any help in identifying these two species would be amazing help!
