Looks like a red eared slider. They are an invasive species and illegal in AZ even though you can find them all the time for next to nothing.

Our Game and Fish reg's are pretty much kill on sight for invasive species.

That's awful. I sent him a not so nice email to lower the price, so he could get into a better, appropriate home. Hopefully it will work.
