Hello everyone, my Hermann tortoise looks like they have a pink skin tag on the back of their foot. I do have a vet appointment coming up next week. It’s the closest one I could get so I thought I’d just post here In the meantime to see if anyone has any ideas. any help would be appreciated. Their name is “Toni” I’m not sure what gender they are though People say boy other people say girl so I don’t know I haven’t had her that long and I’m relatively new to tortoises

I'm not sure, but I THINK that's what we call 'the quick.' Looks like the hard outer keratin has been snagged off a toe or spur.

Hmmm. Could be a parasite? A good reptile vet should know. Hope it gets resolved.
