I found this in my yard just now....its the first green plant I have seen since the snow melted. Is it safe?

I don't know what it is. However, you can see if you can find it on the tortoisetable.org

You can download an app on your smart phone called Leafsnap (its free) and submit the picture of your leaf and it will tell you the name of the plant. Then you can look on Tom's threads to see if it is okay. Good luck!

Thanks, tortoisetable was the first place I looked. I cound'nt find anything that looks just like it. Watercress looked kind of like it though.... Oneleaf looks really nice, however I don't have an iphone. I'm an android fan. Hope someone knows what this plant is!

Google leafsnap. I just did looking for an app for my ipad and bunch of threads came up for android.
