Found this tree on the front yard with some pretty-looking flowers. Was hoping it was hibiscus, but upon closer inspection, did not look like it. Anyone know what it is?

The flowers are part of a tree, they grow upward, and they are long bulbs before opening up. They sort of look like anemone flowers, which are not safe for consumption.

I think it may be a type of magnolia.
If it is you can offer it as part of the diet.
Since I am not positive though I would recommend waiting for a second opinion before feeding it.

Upon comparing it to photos of magnolia flowers, the tree, and the buds online, it does look very similar!

I must admit, I can't find any reports of poisoning from Magnolia sp., but sheep don't eat it, and that is never a good sign.
