Plant with shiny leaves and purple flowers

My tortoise nibbled on this plant before I could stop him. He seems fine, but does anyone know what kind of plant this is?

Perrywinkle aka vinca. Not good but he'll probably be alright.

Vinca minor is high in toxic alkaloids, however, tortoises seem to tolerate alkaloids better than mammals.

There is some of that growing way back in the yard. Just little patches, but it the flowers smell really weird, so I don't give it to the tortoises.
