Poop question

My Western Hermann’s gets a warm bath/soak about 5-6 times a week. He poops in his water nearly every time he soaks. This make me very happy because I can see how things are coming out for him (if you know what I mean).

What I’m wondering is if this is okay or should I soak him for a shorter time so he poops in his enclosure?

No. Let him poop in his soaks. That’s much easier to clear up!

Mine seems to save it up until AFTER his soak. He has pooped in his bath before, but the last few times he hasn’t at all and I’ve just found it in the enclosure instead. I know he’s not blocked up at least.
