Okay so Ive seen people mention turtle brittle and trout chow. They market to be similar to each other so why do some feed both? And do you feed it wet? Mix with fruits and veggies?

Too many choices! Also will they eat bugs if you whack em first?

Don't have to whack the bugs, in fact Box turtles usually prefer live prey. Trout chow is a food for trouts, but it can be used for water and box turtles with no problems, It can be fed either dry or wet, dry would probably be good for beak maintenance.

I haven't tried the brittle, but mine like the trout chow, not there favorite but they do eat it. As far as bugs, mine like them moving more than the ones that just sit there..

Its just with an indoor turtle table I dont want bugs crawling all over the place. I suppose I could put them in an outdoor situation to feed insects? or just give them one or two right in front of them.
