Pretty exciting news!

So, I told you all the story about Scooter and I appreciate your support immensely. It was still under consideration as to whether I would get another tortoise or not, but my roommate convinced me I should. She mentioned that I still look in Scooter's table every time I come home and that I'm still CONSTANTLY on this website and talking to people about Sulcatas. It won't be for a few months, but I will give this baby thing another try. Tortadise has lovingly offered me a baby that I may have when I am ready. So I would like to give a nice big shout-out to him and his Tortoise Sanctuary! Thank you all for helping me through this rough event and for helping me rebuild what I lost. I never thought I would find such a close and caring community on the internet. It was such a lucky surprise. P.S. I already have a name picked out. The new baby will be named Lou.

Also, I have a question. Since Scooter had worms, I need to do a thorough cleaning of his table. The table is plywood and 2x4s. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to sanitize it for the new one? (Besides changing the substrate)

My husbands napping right now and I can hardly wait for him to wake up and tell him the good news. You've been a daily topic of conversation because I've felt so bad for you. Way to go tortadise!!
