Pulse thermostats vs on/off thermostats

Hi guys!
Can I ask, does anyone have experience/opinions on whether the pulse style thermostats are better for ceramics? There’s currently a few sales on making them the same price/cheaper than the traditional on/off ones, are they worth getting? We’ll just be using CHE’s as heat sources for our red foot, and leds for her daylight🙂

Hi I have a ceramic bulb with a habistat pulse thermostat, I can set the temp and know it will take care of the heat. It is a setup I am happy with.

Aw ok thank you for your reply! Would you say in your experience the pulse is better than the on/off for your ceramic? Think we’ll go with those, they sound good

I only ever had pulse, because you can put it on a timer and it self manages on and off to keep temp as required levels.

Fair enough, I think based on my research the pulse ones are more sophisticated for the CHE’s, so think we may as well go for them as they’re on sale, was just hesitant as I don’t want to suggest the wrong style for the bulbs, pglad I came on here, thanks for your input!😊
