Pyramiding

This is Tilly and I'm not sure if I have pyramiding problem here she does seem to be growing pretty fast compared to William ( ps I think they are male and female )

Hi wallaceandtilly:

You really don't have to worry about pyramiding on Russian tortoises. When we talk (and we DO talk a LOT) about pyramiding, it is mainly the RF, leopards and sulcatas. Keeping a moist habitat for baby Mediterranean species really doesn't do much for them. If they start to grow bumpy it's because of something else...wrong food...too much food...no UVB...etc.

So feed them right (not lettuce all the time) and get them outside for some real sun (I know this is diff. in the UK) and you're fine.
