I didn't really care for those either. :rolleyes: The entry is kinda narrow and my tortoises seemed to outgrow it before they outgrew the hide itself. I like something like this. They come in a ton of different sizes, they're cheap and are available at most stores that sell tools or hardware (or online).

If you plan on keeping the enclosure or hide humid, then I think the plastic is a better choice than wood.

Hmm... my tortoise's shell is only 3"x4" and he's like 20 so he doesn't need anything big. I'll get some of those storage things from Wal Mart tonight though. Thanks for the tip!

Spagtuem peat moss works well to put in the hide to make it comfy :cool:

Awesome. I got one of those stackable things last night and he went right in! :D
Now I can comfy it up!
