1. For those who have used plexiglass in their enclosures, what thickness did you use? Did/do you use the same thickness for the top and sides? If not, what thickness should be used for both applications?

2. Has anyone successfully set-up/run an aquaponics driven table (i.e. fish aquarium water to feed plants growing in their indoor enclosures? Is this even possible? Are there health risks?

Hello! I'm so glad you asked this question. I've been meaning to to a write-up on aquaponics for tortoise owners, but I don't want to sound like I'm tooting my own horn. Please see the link on my profile. I've been running my aquaponics set up for less than a year, and it runs AMAZINGLY! My leos get a fresh source of fescue, rye grass, dichrondra, clovers, lettuce, kale, collards, and turnip greens, and barely have to do anything! The only problem is that they eat so much that as soon as there is new growth, by a few days it's all chomped down.
