My red foot's toe nails are getting long. How do i clip them and how short.

Also I am battling a humidity issue. I spray koopa daily (he don't like it) but yet he still is so dry. I just spent so much building his table but how do i keep the humid side humid? Attached are pics of his nails and you can also see how dry he is getting. He was a adopted tort from a owner who did not care properly at all for him. He pyramided badly and was horribly dry. I have his shell conditioned and thats doing better but his poor skin : ( I am a huge animal lover and to see him still dry is killing me.

(edit) his new table pics so you can suggest how to keep him humid!

He has one side repti bark (easy for him to dig in) and the other side plain dirt. Now I had to let the dirt stiffen up because when it is loose koopa likes to eat it. Help me out guys!

For my Redfoots, I have a similar enclosure and to keep humidity up, I cover half with a tarp. I add a bunch of water to the substrate and the humidity stays between 65% and 80%! Good luck ;)

You could also try changing his substrate to something that holds moisture longer like peat moss or coco coir instead of dirt.
