Hello All!
Let me just say that I love this forum and as a fairly new tortoise owner it is very helpful and informative. A few months back this forum was very helpful to me when my Russian Cleo was diagnosed with a respiratory infection. With everyone's help and input Cleo recovered. During the time I took her to the vet I asked if she may have been pyramiding and any shell health problems and he said no I shouldn't worry. But I am worried. Can someone please comment on her shell and let me know if there are any concerns and what I should do if there are. Thank you!

Her shell lookd just fine. Some are a bit more bumpy than others naturally. Russians are not a species that is prone to pyramiding. So when we find it it means very bad and unhealthy things for them. Yours looks pretty typical, I would expect it to have come from a wild caught and imported pet store.

Looks like there is some very slight pyramiding. Soak 3 times a week warm water and get some humidity in her enclosure, 40-60 %. If she is housed outside, spray the enclosure down when the sun is out a few times a day.
