Wow, very cool! I'm not very handy and have been looking for a simple way to make a second story. Does the glue not bother the torts at all?

thanks their deserts. the glue does not bother them at all, but I did have to glue between all the sticks so their nails wouldn't get stuck.

Cool. I just went last weekend and bought a bunch of Popsicle sticks to make a second story for Boris. What kind of glue did you use? I thought about painting my sticks also but not sure it would be safe for him. Good job! Thanks for sharing.

I used hot melt glue. Two things to look out for: 1, the strings from the hot melt glue can get tangled around the tortoise so make sure to take all of them off. 2, you NEED to glue in between each of the cracks between the sticks so your tortoise's nails don't get stuck(I put it in without doing that... and the first tortoise up got his nails stuck:( so I had to take it out and put glue in all the cracks) :tort:

Thanks for the advice. By the way, Love your icon picture! I might start working on it this weekend. Still trying to figure out what I want exactly.
