As I read through Tom’s amazing Russian Tortoise Care Sheet, I wished the pictures were still available.
I’m working on a new indoor setup for my newly acquired Russian and will build an outdoor enclosure once the snow melts.
I need some inspiration! Anyone want to share pics of their tortoise enclosures?

My Russians live outside during the warmer months and brumate on the car port during the winter. Here's their outside enclosure:

The fence is built on rectangular cement stepping stones so they can't dig under.

Hi I’m in the uk and my Male and female live outside in an insulated shed. Their bedding was cypress mulch and hay but only this morning as it’s a warmer better day here after a cold snowy spell, I thought I’d give them some compost and coir to dig in as my female as done nothing but scratch for a few weeks. I think they both like it. Their outside enclosure which isn’t used in cold months needs to be extended in the spring. They have had to have half the space I’d got because I took the female after I’ set everything up.

It looks more humid where you are. Are you thinking of new boards to prevent mold?

Hi no the inside of the shed is plywood, so I’m thinking with a more damp substrate it will rot the wood. It already has a waterproof liner on the floor .
