I have a baby Hermanns tortoise he is almost 2 years old and his plastron is still a bit soft like when I pick him up I can feel it go in a bit and the top is not rock hard yet is this normal for a 2 year old?

They normally have a bit of 'give' to them. Once he's put outside in real sunshine you'll see a very big difference.
