Ok, probably the oddest question of the day. I miscalculated how much silkworm chow I will need for the silkworms because the mulberry trees have finally started to grow leaves and so I can use the leaves. The chow is expensive and I would hate to throw it out. Would it be safe to feed the chow to my cherryhead baby?

I would think it would be ok, since silk worms eat mulberry leaves. But a check of the ingredients will tell you for sure.

Here is the answer I received from my supplier:

The ingredients are mainly mulberry leaves and a binding agent to make it gel called agar. There may be other ingredients I may not be aware of but they would be vitamins and or minerals.
