My 2 year old Leopard, Levi lives outdoors and sleeps locked up inside of a fully insulated, heated tort house. (A copy of @Tom 's design)

The substrate is 6" of damp coco coir. I thought you all might enjoy seeing how he buries himself at night. :) :tort:

You can see the thermometer/hydrometer highs and lows over the past 24 hrs. I haven't added any water or moisture in about a week. I don't aim for a specific reading, like I did in the closed chamber. I aim for damp coir and have the heater set on thermostat for 80F.

Many of us with Leopards/Sulcatas have been trying to find a way to add moderate humidity to our night boxes. Some use tubs of water but the deep coir substrate has worked well for me :)
