I was scratching Shermann's head earlier and thought he was shedding a bit, then he totally jumped away - which was strange. On closer inspection he has a small gouge in his head. I think he has done it on his ramp, so I have put some stones in the way to avoid it happening again.

I'm assuming just leave it be and it will heal on its own. It is on its way to scabbing. He's acting normally, eating and drinking as normal.

Poor guy! He tucks his head in now when I reach in :-/
