Hey, Bill...that's not fair. If you're going to post something like this you have to put up pictures!!! I want to see the parents as well as the new baby.
If no images, can you describe your group? Are they wild adults, or from another breeder? Do you use oyster shell as a substrate, so many do, I am always interested to hear alternate success methods.
I tried posting a photo but it didn't work!
Not for sure what I did wrong - maybe file too large.
My breeding group are all captive born from multiple US breeders and most recently zoo stock.
I have been breeding them for several years and have hatched out over 100 babies in that time. Maybe some of you in the USA have purchased some of my babies.
I am that breeder from Texas that some earlier posts mention.
Will - yes I do use oystershell - currently I'm mixing it with coconut coir.
I raise them entirely indoors under UVB lamps - except for occasional supervised romps outside.
I hope to eventually have a setup where they could spend more time outdoors during suitable weather .
I'm still new here so I guess my posts are still moderated.
I don't get on here that often so it takes a while for me to respond - or to notice the photo I tried to post didn't go through.
