Thank you, all!
Sure @Anyfoot! :) Are these what you were looking for, as in close-up? He looks sooo long because of an extra scute on his right side. This is the dad of the 3 babies that just hatched. One of the babies has an extra scute, just like him, same exact place just opposite side of carapace.

He's perfect. Do you know his history. Is he wild caught?

Thank you. :) Unfortunately, the only thing that I know about him is that he was wild caught. A reptile supplier picked him out for me in Miami, FL about a year ago and I drove to meet him. He had a vet check and the vet thought he was over 20 years old. I actually believe he may be older because of his bite. The ridges on his mouth are worn down/dull-like, although he's able to eat fine, it just takes him a little longer. He also had no parasite load whatsoever, so not sure how long he's been a captive. I'm really happy to have him, though.

Very adorable babies! They'll always be babies to me no matter how old they are. ;) I love the photo with the female and male looking toward each other. I imagine my fiance and I will look quite similar as we get older, with that "what now?" look on our faces. XD

That is awesome!! Such a unique venue. I love it! :)
Us tort people are quite unique indeed! The photo in my avatar is our Russian with a ring pillow tied onto his shell. He's our ring-bearer, not for the ceremony, but just the announcements we've since sent out. Our friends and family really enjoyed the announcements but some we pretty disappointed when they asked if "Steve" would be "walking down the aisle" and we had to respond that, as a reptile, he'd be unable to. Maybe we can stop at home after the ceremony and sneak him into our wedding photos, hehe! ;D

As a wedding photographer I would insist that you assign a tortoise wrangler to bring him for photos and return him safely to his home. But you know, us tortoise people are crazy. :p

Not a bad idea at all! It would actually be the ideal job for someone on the forum, haha!
