I've been tempted to get a humidifier for my Cherry head enclosure. How is it working for you? Good work on a quality build though!!

It works very well someone on this forum i got the idea from. And they also said it was working good for them. Finding the right unit is the hard part. The unit i'm using is by Safety First.

I just put in a humidifier and it's helping a lot. Mine looks like a polar bear. You just have to find one that allows you to run tubing from the unit into the enclosure. I like polar bears sooo I went for a polar bear one

I've just heard of respiratory problems being caused by spraying enclosures too much... So I'm wondering if this might lead to the same problem?

No it should not lead to any problem's as long as your heat is 80 degrees and up from what I understand. I've notice since I built my top its kept in the heat and moisture 99% more and is very easy to mantain both. Also i have my heater on a thermostat. so the lowest it gets is 80 and the high is 107 under his light. I keep his coconut coir damp 80% and a 20% dry area. My Sulcata ever since I've done the cover has been more active in his water dish all the time making a big mess and digging lots[/i]

I keep mine between 77 and 85F and during the day it's around 80% humidity but at night it drops to 70%. If I don't have the humidifier the side near the mvb bulb drops humidity to the 50's.
