man I'm jealous!! what is your moss? I need to go on a quest for moss just growing around here. I have to stop myself every time from buying some because I don't want to wait out the pesticides.

This is sheet moss. I have better luck with it than the sphagnum moss.

It comes in small bags and when you pull it apart it's in bits and pieces but it is in "sheets". I puzzle piece it in there where it works with the shape and layout and nestle it into the coco coir a little bit. It quickly pulls moisture from the substrate and I'm assuming wicks it into the air, which helps with humidity. The torts seem to like it. Tort carpet lol.

Oh those bugs creep me out. My grandma told me when I was little that they could bury themselves under my skin. Well she told me a lot of things that scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. lol

Is sheet moss more "alive" than the sphagnum moss. Lol the sphagnum moss just seems dead and not very attractive to me.

Your set up looks amazing. I'm looking to do something similar for my two leopards, they're nearly 5 months old :) they're currently in a tortoise table but I'm finding it difficult to keep the humidity up.
How will you be joining both chambers?

I'm interested in using Roly Polys in my set up. My tortoise table is made of wood. Do you think they would climb out of the enclosure?

I really like that sheet moss. Where did you buy it from?
