Adorable! Do you ever take any eggs in to incubate?

Never have.....the aults have been with me for years and never had any babies. This was the first time (last winter) that they over-wintered naturally outside and not in the basement. I had NO IDEA the babies were even there!!! :p I went in the pen to get it ready in the fall (for winter...cleaning out the dens etc) and there they were!!! My husband said he heard me scream " I HAVE BABIES!" from across the yard :D:D

I wonder if your husband fainted when he heard you scream "I have babies"?

OHH wow what a great surprise! They are such cuties :D My best friend has fallen in love with my little sully and we researched smaller species a bit for her this weekend and she really loves that redfoots have color but they get a bit too big for her. In ever even thought of boxies!! Maybe I should suggest that, thank you for bringing them up!
