I'd believe it. If you google search "baby sulcata" it's almost guaranteed that you'll find pictures of a tiny sulcata reaching out to bite a strawberry that is bigger than he is. That makes for a great photo but it could have a lot to do with people's perception that fruit should be a staple in their diet.The struggle is real on most Facebook groups. They are full of show and tell and much less care oriented. This is true on other tortoise species but also most other animal groups as well. I try to direct people on the redfoot group to this forum by copying a link to pertinent threads.
