I upped the wattage in LuLu's cage this morning because her temp at the 100 w has been sitting at 90-95. So, I upped the bulb to a 150w which is all they had and her temp is now 102.4 in her basking area (where she likes to sleep). The end of the habitat is at it's usual temp which everyone said was fine.

I don't want her to "cook" . She is sleeping but she is jerking around at the same time ever few min. Is she to hot? Should I go back to 100w?

The humidity has been upped a little too because I sprayed down her cage this morning and it's sitting at 43% by this afternoon.

Can someone give me some input her soon, so I can turn off a light. She is just about 3 months or so old. Thanks!

Since No one has answered yet, I misted her and her entire habitat. The humidity is up and she started moving around. As, I cont. to mist she made her way to her food bowl. I don't know if I just woke her up and she decided to eat or if her housing is really getting to hot. Guess, I will have to keep trying things out. Thanks.

The temperature sounds fine. Stars do well in high heat.

Pay attention to the tortoise though. If she spends all of her time away from the basking area, it might be too hot for her. On the other hand if she spends most of her time close to the basking spot, she might need more warmth.
