Nothing better than using recycled materials for a new project. I build most of my pens out of stuff I can find laying around here too. Hardly ever have to spend $$$ buying building materials.

Looks good. Always happy to see baby tortoises getting some outside time.

Right and granted this forum gave me a lot of ideas to save $$$ :)

Thanks, they're like 97 cents each at Walmart

Good job. One question. Are all your torts in the one enclosure? Mixing species is not a good idea. Here is just one of the many threads about why mixing is bad. http://www.tortoiseforum.org/thread-61945.html check out Toms post about the third or fourth post down. There are many more if you search "mixing species" in the search bar.

Yeah I have them mixed in the same enclosure outdoors but indoors they have their own separate vivs. I just thought it should be fine with the big space? I just remembered someone here said its ok outside?

It's not okay outside any more then it is inside. They poop and pee and have saliva
Outside the same as they do inside.

Yes, re-using building materials and brick rocks! Looks great and the cover is a good idea, hawks/kestrels/crows oh my. I second the mixing of species. Too many sad wipe-outs. I read about a lady in England who lost over 20, her whole hobby, within 2 weeks when she introduced one, into her already mixed herd. Tortoises seem very vulnerable to bacterias that are not there own, or that of their species. Don't risk it. Your tortoises are all beautiful. : )
