tortoise owners in Spain ?

:tort: HI, my name is Annie, waiting to adopt two wild tortoises - they are wild in the area we live and some home owners dont want them in their garden, so Im happy to take some in :)
is there any Spanish residents a member here ? Im thinking about the plants etc and worried about what could be dangerous. and general things to thinks about about 'Spanish' tortoises...:cool:..looking forward to meeting you all :tort:

Spadget, lives in Tenerife...Blinky lives in La Marina. Those are the only two in Spain that have told us where they live.

Tenerife... an island off of north africa... it does belong to Spain... Canary Islands.

I've got a friend who recently moved to the area... but I'm betting he would not be happy with your question.

If you live in their native area and have a nice yard... set up a fence to where they cannot get out and let them live. They know what they can eat or not.
