It's been a couple months since I've been over to see how things on the forum are going. Life is just crazy with 3 kids & 2 jobs! Anyways, Betty White (who still needs a new name :/ ) is definately growing & doing well. A guy I work with has a russian from the same clutch & his tortoise, Henry, is much smaller than her. Is that normal? Am I over feeding her? I will take pics of him another day & show the size difference. But for today, some pics of my beautiful russian!

Great pics! She looks great so keep up whatever you are doing. Is your russian a female? And is your coworkers tortoise a male? Females grow larger and faster than males do.

I had originally thought female & wanted female but everyone says due to the tail it looks like a male. So I'm not sure. She (he) is 2 years old now, are we old enough to tell for sure now? The tail is very long and wraps to the side, pretty much reaches around to her leg.

Yeah you have a male there, females have short stubby tails.
