Using a humidity probe

Hi all, I've just received my LCD thermometer to read the humidity level in the tortoise table, and now I have it I'm not sure how to use it. Do I put the probe in the substrate or just above and also where about in the tortoise table should it be placed, near the 2 lights or away from them; your advice is most welcome. Many thanks Sam

I have the same one I just put it under his basking area to measure the temp. Then you can measure the other side of the table. I put mine literally on the surface. But there might be better ways.
