Weird Redfoot behavior.

I put a large piece of Cuttlebone in with my Redfoots, and I noticed the smaller one doing the most peculiar thing today. Instead of nibbling on the cuttlebone, she was rubbing her beak back and forth along it as if she was sharpening it, weird.

She might have felt that there was some overgrowth there or something, or just had some sort of an itch. Interestin!

There's no need to try to analyze everything a redfoot does.If you do,you'll spend the majority of your time trying to figure out why they do what they do.Mine do something I haven't seen before,on an almost daily basis.lol

Pio had a "love rock" last year. He would climb on it and rub..up and down...up and down. I finally had to take it out.
