My Russian, Ezek, has had the white lines on both the left and right areas of the shell but I just noticed the white in the middle part. It looks a little differeent then the other parts. I am not sure what is starting to occur.
What might be the issue?

That's new growth. It looks a little dry. If it bothers you, you can take a Q-tip and paint the spaces between the scutes with olive oil. Don't paint the whole shell.
