Can't you just imagine the thoughts the diver had when he/she realized there was this big creature right on top of him? YIPES!! And then, to have the turtle try to take a bite out of his underwater suit? I thought they just ate algae and stuff like that.

Sea Turtles are no different than any other Turtle. They are curious animals, and are attracted to colors/shapes. This is why a lot of them ingest plastic and other trash and subsequently die a very lingering death....

That would be a lot of fun. I like how tht person was surprised and then just touched the nose at first like "NO"! But then let it do as it pleases. Thanks for sharing.

That was actually really cool. To see it approach the diver and "investigate" so unafraid. I really liked it!
I also scuba dive...or did. Before kids I used to dive in large salt water exhibits for tank cleaning and maintenance. Never got tired of hand feeding sharks and rays or doing flips in the water surrounded by cool fish! Interacting with a sea turtle far surpasses what I've done! Thanks for sharing.

I've snorkelled with wild sea turtles they take seaweed from you with no worry at all, amazing animals! Best part of my whole holiday in Sri Lanka!
